How to Update Your Profile Information

Log in to your KaraFun Business account
Visit https://business.karafun.com/ and sign in with your admin credentials.
Access the Account Settings
Click "Account" in the left menu bar.
Enter the relevant information.
Save your changes
After making the necessary updates, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

How to add your EU VAT number and why it's important

If you're a business customer located in the European Union, your EU VAT number plays a key role in how taxes are handled on your KaraFun Business subscription. KaraFun is based in France and complies with European tax regulations, which means VAT must be correctly calculated depending on your location and VAT registration status.

What Is an EU VAT Number?

An EU VAT number (Value-Added Tax number) is a unique identifier issued to businesses in European Union member states. It is used for reporting VAT on cross-border transactions between EU countries. A valid VAT number is typically structured with a two-letter country code (e.g., DE, IT, ES) followed by a numeric sequence.

Why Does KaraFun Ask for Your VAT Number?

Legal requirement: KaraFun, being a company registered in France, must comply with EU VAT rules when billing customers across the EU.
Intra-community sales: If you’re in another EU country and provide a valid VAT number, KaraFun can apply the reverse-charge mechanism — meaning no VAT is added to your invoice.
Tax compliance: Including your VAT number ensures your invoice is compliant for your accounting records and local tax declarations.
Avoid overpaying: Without a valid VAT number, KaraFun is obligated to charge VAT at the French rate (20%), even if you’re entitled to reclaim it.

How It Affects KaraFun Business Customers

If you’re a business customer using KaraFun Business in the EU:

French customers: You must pay VAT, even with a VAT number. It will be listed on your invoice.
EU customers (outside France): If you provide a valid VAT number, no VAT will be charged — but your invoice will mention reverse-charge compliance.
EU customers without VAT number: VAT is added to your invoice at 20% (French rate).
Non-EU customers: VAT is not applicable.

Log in to https://business.karafun.com/
Go to Account
Find the field labeled EU VAT Number
Enter your complete VAT number (e.g., BE0123456789)
Click Save
